Review by hotel critic
The Strandhotel offers a unique balance of value and comfort, particularly for those looking to unwind by the lake. Though my visit coincided with the quieter winter months and some rain, the serene atmosphere allowed for a peaceful retreat. The spacious bedroom was a highlight-the bed was comfortable, and the shower alcove was a thoughtful addition. While the restaurant features an enchanting open-air area with a view of the lake, I was surprised to see cats near the buffet-something to keep in mind ! The hotel is pet-friendly, which was perfect for my dog, allowing him to enjoy the ample room to play. With competitive pricing, ample parking, and convenient amenities like wi-fi and express check-in, the Strandhotel is a wise choice for travelers seeking quality without breaking the bank. Whether for leisure or work, it's a solid option worth considering.
